I SWEAR by the beauty of water. When you’re hydrated, your skin glows & plumps, helping to fill out fine lines & sallow skin. Secondly, & equally important, is making regular visits to an aesthetician. An aethetician can help diagnose what you’re skin is lacking & can literally help peel away the damage that’s been done by the sun, sleeping in your makeup, lack of moisture, age, etc.. When you’re skin is in tip-top shape, you can get away with wearing less makeup too…how relieving is that idea??! (unless I’M doing it!!!) Really! The clearer & more evened-out your skin looks, just a pinch of makeup will get you by on those days you’re running around doing errands…& you’ll still look amazing!
As a makeup artist, I can ALWAYS tell when someone takes good care of their skin. I work twice as hard covering up someone’s lack of skin maintenance, in an effort to fake “good skin”…but nothing can completely hide bumps & enormous pores…is this you?

If an aesthetician isn’t exactly in your budget, check out your local Sephora store. They have many lines that carry good exfoliating products, peels, buffers & moisturizers. I’ve even found some skin care gems at Walgreens, you never know!
